Using wrong ironing temperature is a common cause of fabric damage. Here is a quick guide:
| Fabric | Iron Setting | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| Cotton | High heat (3 dots) | Slightly damp, or use steam |
| Linen | High heat (3 dots) | Iron while damp for best results |
| Silk | Low heat (1 dot) | Inside out, pressing cloth over fabric — never direct iron |
